JustWorld Week Europe 2017
Just over an hour by train from the French capital is the glittering beach town of Deauville, France. Often referred to as the 'Parisian Riviera', this popular town in the Normandy region holds a special place in the hearts of JustWorld's team and supporters in Europe.It was here in 2015 that JustWorld International united more than 250 guests from diverse equestrian communities to celebrate and raise funds for its projects at the first ever European Gala. Fast forward two years and we are back for the third annual Gala, which will be the highlight of an entire week dedicated to JustWorld! What is on this year's agenda? Plenty of exciting events and activities!

JustWorld Week kicks off with the first edition of the Longines Deauville Classic. From August 4-6, come and admire some of show jumping's best at this exciting new event set on the well-known and beautiful grounds of the Pôle International du Cheval, just a stone's throw away from the beach. The organization is in the experienced hands of Grand Prix Event, whom you perhaps know better for their distinguished magazines 'Grand Prix', 'Atout Cheval' and 'Grand Prix Heroes'. For the past four years they have been successfully venturing into the realm of event organization, aiming to unite high level sport, supporters and shows.
As the Official Charity Partner, JustWorld will be present at the show throughout the weekend. Come visit us at our stand, get your tickets for the drawing, and tempt your chances at winning a course walk with a JustWorld Ambassador or even a ticket for the Gala. For those who haven't reserved your places yet, our lovely hostesses can also help you purchase your tickets on the spot. On Sunday, we will revisit the classic Longines Clear the Jump initiative during the exciting Grand Prix. Thanks to the generosity of the Swiss watchmaker, this concept allows for the equivalent of 200 meals to be donated to children at JustWorld's partner projects every time the Longines combination is jumped clear.Come join JustWorld and enjoy sport and glamour in this unique and elegant setting!

The JustWorld Gala will be held on the evening of Tuesday, August 8th, but, not before we head to the races at the Hippodrome de Deauville la Touque for a very special race dedicated to JustWorld.
In the evening, JustWorld will be honored to host its guests at a very special location, the magnificent Haras de la Poterie owned by Geneviève Mégret and her family. Set amongst lush greenery just outside of the Deauville city center, Geneviève describes the location as "incredibly serene and peaceful." Warm-hearted, she tells us that lending the Haras for the purpose of hosting the Gala is her way of contributing to JustWorld and its causes. "Helping others is an attitude. I want the Gala to be successful, for everyone to share a wonderful moment together and try to raise significant funds for children in need. It is sure to be a wonderful evening, filled with compassion and accompanied by wonderful food, libations, a silent and live auction, and a very special concert.

Thanks to 'Le Tigre Yoga Club' and the GroupeBarrière de Deauville, we are sure to be in the best yogi hands possible!After a relaxing morning of yoga, help us bring JustWorld Week to a close at the Deauville Polo Club Wednesday afternoon. The JustWorld Match will be opened by actress and JustWorld Ambassador Marina Hands. Follow the match closely to keep track of the 'Score the Goal for a JustWorld', and come to meet our newest Ambassador recruit, Pierre Henri Ngoumou!
